Cancellations & Refunds

Life happens and we get that. This page explains what to do if you need to cancel a session, reschedule, or request a refund. We've tried to keep things as straightforward and fair as possible.

Cancelling or Rescheduling an Appointment


We kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your session. This gives us the chance to offer your slot to someone else who may be waiting. A few things to keep in mind:
 

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged the full session fee.

  • If you're more than 15 minutes late without letting us know beforehand, the session will be considered cancelled and the full fee may apply.

  • Emergencies happen. If something unexpected comes up, please reach out to us as soon as you can, we'll do our best to work with you.

     

Refund Policy
 
If you've prepaid for a session and need to cancel, here's how refunds work:
At least 24 hours before the session - Full refund, minus any applicable administrative fees
Within 24 hours of the session - The full session fee is retained as a cancellation charge
After the session has taken place - No refund is available
 
Refunds are processed within 14 business days and returned via your original payment method. If you haven't received your refund within that window, please get in touch with us and we'll look into it right away.

 
Sliding Scale & Pro Bono Sessions
 

We're committed to making therapy accessible. If you're on a sliding scale or pro bono arrangement, here's what to know:
 

  • We still ask for 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel, so we can offer your spot to someone else in need.

  • There is no cancellation fee for pro bono sessions. Sliding scale sessions follow the same 24-hour cancellation policy as paid sessions.

  • Repeated no-shows without notice may unfortunately affect your eligibility for these sessions in the future.
    We hope you understand, these spots are limited and in high demand.

     

Not Happy with Your Experience?

Your experience matters deeply to us. If something didn't feel right or you're not satisfied with how things went, we encourage you to speak openly with your therapist first, these conversations can often make a real difference.
If you'd still like to discontinue, the refund terms above will apply. You're also always welcome to reach out to our team directly, we take all feedback seriously and are committed to doing better.
 
Session Fees & Annual Adjustments
 
Our session fees may be reviewed and adjusted slightly once a year. Any changes will always be communicated to you at least 30 days in advance, so there are never any surprises.
If a session runs longer than the scheduled 50–55 minutes, a small proportionate charge may apply.
 
If you have any questions about fees, please don't hesitate to bring it up with your therapist or contact us directly.
